Joe ieri sera su instagram ha pubblicato una foto con la quale ci fa sapere che il brano cantato dai DJ The Chainsmokers e dalla cantante Halsey ha stato scritto da lui e Isaac insieme ad altri autori. Il brano è stato pubblicato alla fine di luglio e si intitola " Closer ". Lo potete ascoltare su Spotify e acquistare su iTunes e altri negozi digitali. Mesi fa vi avevamo parlato del duetto di Isaac con Sara Evans (articolo qui ). Da oggi possiamo ascoltare il brano Can't Stop Loving You e scaricarlo da iTunes (clicca QUI )   Sara in una recente intervista parla di Isaac. Usually, when we're trying something new--new song with new lyrics, new city we've never played in. We've done Kimmel enough though that he puts me right at ease. He's so chill, helps a lot. We always say, "Hey," side stage right before we play. Jimmy's a class act.  MR: Can you take us on a quick tour of Helios' songs, it's creation, et cetera?  IS: Yeah. Isaac Slade duetta con la cantante Sara Evans nel brano "Can't Stop Loving You". La canzone farà parte dell'album "Slow Me Down" che sarà pubblicato il 4 marzo. Ecco cosa dice a proposito di Isaac:  The duet with Slade was one that came about completely by chance, says Evans. "That's the one that wasn't planned. It was originally pitched to me as a duet, and I loved it. So, we started brainstorming about who would be great on the song. I wanted to go outside of the country genre, so I had always been a big fan of The Fray. I brought it up to all my people, and they loved the idea. So, we reached out to Issac. He is actually managed by a company in Nashville, which we didn't know. He came in and did an amazing job. He poured everything he had into it, and really took ownership of it, so we decided it was going to be a full-blown duet." Fonte: billboard 

Ciao ragazzi, oggi mentre navigavo su internet ho trovato un video di una canzone molto speciale. Si intitola “ O Love That Will Not Let Me Go ” ed è cantata da Isaac e Anna Slade (si, esatto sua moglie). Il video è stato registrato in una vecchia chiesa nella città di Denver. Ecco cosa riporta il sito honesttogod.net. A friend of mine, Isaac Slade (of the Fray ), and his wife Anna, recorded this wonderful hymn originally by George Matheson . Set in an old church in Denver, they were able to capture this hymn in a beautiful unique way with a piano, cello and violin. As they searched for a hymn to record they found this one – “ O Love That Will Not Let Me Go ” – through the suggestion of Anna’s mother. I already had a deep affection for the words and history of this hymn, but the Slade’s recording has made me fall in love with it all over again.
