Il prossimo mese i The Fray suoneranno a Long Islanders, per l'occasione Newsday ha intervistato Joe King. La band suonerà al The Paramount in Huntington per due sere consecutive, rispettivamente il 23 e 24 ottobre. Joe si definisce entusiasta di suonare a Long Islanders: " We're excited to play these smaller shows [...]".   Durante l'intervista  ha rivelato che suoneranno in anteprima i brani nel nuovo quarto album, commentando che il nuovo progetto non sarà un "club record" o un disco dance, loro vogliono catturare le emozioni:  " We're doing what we do best. We're writing songs that capture emotions. " Altra rivelazione: il quarto album sarà prodotto da Stuart Price , produttore che ha lavorato con artisti come Madonna e The Killers. Oggi corre l'anniversario della pubblicazione dell'album " How to save a life ". Sono 8 anni dalla pubblicazione di questo album. Sono otto anni che la nostra vita è "stata salvata"/cambiata con la musica dei The Fray . Buon anniversario!!! 13. Settembre. 2005 - 13.Settembre.2013 #8yearsofHowToSaveALife  Dedica al singolo. Ieri vi ho postato un "anteprima mondiale" che consisteva nell'ascolto di " WHEREVER IT GOES " nuovo brano dei The Fray. (che potete ascoltare QUI ).  Oggi, grazie a un fan presente al concerto a Friant di Martedì,  vi posso confermare che i ragazzi si sono esibiti con tre nuovi brani quello annuciato prima  “ HOLD MY HAND " e " DON’T DREAM IT’S OVER ” In oltre è stato rivelato da Joe (questa estate) che il nuovo singolo sarà rilasciato ad Ottobre . "The new songs make me even more excited for the upcoming album, the new single will be releasing sometime in October as I was told those exact words by Mr. Joe King himself!" Fonte: QUI Tumblr

Ieri  su Facebook vi avevo parlato dell'inizio del nuovo tour dei The Fray. E mi ero chiesta "Canteranno brani nuovo??" Ebbene SI!. Live a TABLE MOUNTAIN CASINO ecco la nuova canzone dei The Fray dal nuovo quarto album... TITOLO: "WHEREVER IT GOES"
